English: weekend seminar in Esslingen Oct 2-4 2015 with Jan Nevelius from Sweden. You are invited to stay overnight in our dojo. Please sign up to the seminar due to limited places.

Jan Nevelius started practicing aikido in 1975, and is based in Stockholm where he and Jorma Lyly are the head teachers at Vanadis Aikidoklubb. Over the years he has trained with and has been influenced by different Aikido teachers, and during his stay in Japan he came to develop a close relationship with Seishiro Endo Shihan and Christian Tissier Shihan.
Jan Nevelius’ aikido style is characterized by a strong connection between uke and tori. He does not only show how to do aikido techniques, but also strongly emphasizes uke’s role. In addition to being an aikido instructor, he practices and teaches shiatsu, acupuncture, and qigong. He is the author of Vaken Vila.
For many years, Jan Nevelius has taught a great number of seminars throughout Europe, in Israel and North America. We are very happy he managed to squeeze in a weekend with us despite his busy agenda!

Aikidoka of all affiliations are welcome. Weapons will not be needed. Space is limited, please sign up. Saturday after the early class, the Esslingen Aikido Club will supply snacks and finger food at the dojo.
It is possible to stay overnight at the dojo. On Saturday and Sunday there will be breakfast from 9 a.m.
