We assess diversity as a precious asset!

In our dojo we host teachers and trainings of different Aikido styles, which is quite unique in the Aikido world!.

We organize international aikido workshops several times a year and are connected with a lot of dojos all over the world, in countries such as Sweden, Italy, France, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, Israel, Denmark, the US, Japan, …

Beginners or newcomers

• New members may join every class or our special beginners’ classes that take place twice a year (spring and fall)
• All languages welcome – most of our teachers speak English, some also speak French, however, language should be no obstacle, as aikido actually is a non-verbal form of communication
• All you need in the beginning is a comfortable training suit (long sleeve, long pants) and slippers
• The first three trainings are for free, however we are always happy if you want to make a donation

We have two training locations:

1. Main Dojo, Esslingen-Pliensauvorstadt (Training hours) :

Address: Eberhard-Bauer-Str. 32, 73734 Esslingen (Pliensauvorstadt), 3rd (top) floor, (pass the courtyard)

Getting there: Ort auf Google Maps anschauen .

By car: coming from Stuttgart, take the B10 exit “ES-Pliensauvorstadt / ES-Zollberg”. Then, keep to the right and after some 100 meters turn right onto Stuttgarter Straße. After 400 m turn right onto Eberhard-Bauer-Straße.

By public transportation: take bus line no. 102 (direction Mettingen) from Esslingen main station or bus line no. 103 (direction Hedelfingen). Get off at “Pliensauvorstadt Adalbert-Stifter-Schule”, from where it is a 2 minutes walk.

2. Esslingen-Liebersbronn school gym (training hours):

No classes on school holidays or public holidays.

Getting there: coming from the city center go direction „Jägerhaus (Schurwald)“, pass Hegensberg. Arriving at the church turn left into street “Im Gehren”. Our hall is opposite of the Hotel “Traube”, some 20 m below. Parking directly at the gym.
